This report provides a socioeconomic impact assessment of the United States Department of Agriculture’s SBIR funded project entitled Community-Based Mobile Manufacturing of Structural Masonry Using Regional Materials. The project is being implemented in Lake County (CA) by Watershed Materials, a small business located in Napa, CA. The project proposes the development of a regionally-based manufacturing model that will promote job creation and economic growth in post-agrarian rural economies.
